Soap2day – Dave Bautista says that the second "Dune 2" movie will be "more amped up" than the first. The 54-year-old actor played the villain Glossu Rabban Harkonnen in the multi-Academy Award-winning 2021 movie, which is the first part of a two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel by Frank Herbert. He said that he "loved" working with director Denis Villeneuve and hinted that his role in the upcoming sequel is "much bigger" than in the first.
"You've already heard me talk about the first movie, and we've also talked about it. It was that times 100 because Rabban was really excited, and my role in this is much bigger. I got to spend a lot more time with Denny, which I really wanted because I love working with Denny "he said.
"Again, Denny brings out the best in me, and this was such a wonderful experience. Before I left the movie, we talked about something else, which I won't say until it happens, but he knows that my dream is to work with him as a number one, because I think Denny will show me how good I can be."
The actor from "Knock at the Cabin" went on to say that the first movie was "an introduction" and that the second movie is full of "absurd humor." He told the magazine, "This is so much more exciting than the first movie. The first movie was just a taste of what this one is like."
"There's just so much going on, and it's a lot more political, cutthroat, and intense. There are also some funny moments, even if they are kind of silly. So it's a lot more exciting than the first movie."
The movie "Dune 2" will come out on November 3.
