After Alec Baldwin shot and killed Halyna Hutchins on the set of "Rust" in 2021, gun use on movie sets has been in the news, but Julianne doesn't think that Hollywood is to blame for the number of gun deaths in the U.S.
The ""Boogie Nights" actress said, "When people talk about gun safety and blame entertainment, it's important to remember that the rest of the world watches the same entertainment as the US, but the US has easy access to weapons. So, I'm not a big fan of movies with a lot of violence, but I also don't think gun violence is caused by movies."
Julianne's most recent movie is the psychological thriller "Sharper." In an interview, she said that she likes movies where she can play real people. She told him, "I'm interested in how people act. It's interesting and hard to understand."
