Soap2day – Julianne Moore doesn't like using guns in her films. The 62-year-old actress has said that she hasn't used a gun in a movie in 15 years because she doesn't feel comfortable with it. She is a strong advocate for gun control in the U.S.

"Yes. I don't have any interest in it at all. I'm not interested in it, "When asked if the lack of guns is a choice, Julianne told The Sunday Times that it is.

After Alec Baldwin shot and killed Halyna Hutchins on the set of "Rust" in 2021, gun use on movie sets has been in the news, but Julianne doesn't think that Hollywood is to blame for the number of gun deaths in the U.S.

The ""Boogie Nights" actress said, "When people talk about gun safety and blame entertainment, it's important to remember that the rest of the world watches the same entertainment as the US, but the US has easy access to weapons. So, I'm not a big fan of movies with a lot of violence, but I also don't think gun violence is caused by movies."

Julianne's most recent movie is the psychological thriller "Sharper." In an interview, she said that she likes movies where she can play real people. She told him, "I'm interested in how people act. It's interesting and hard to understand."

Now, older women can play tougher roles on the big screen, and Moore thought about how her career has changed because of this. The actor who won an Oscar said, "So, we're all the main characters in our own stories, right? You are the hero of your own story, whether you are seven or seventy."
