Soap2day – "The Riker's Ghost", a prison break-out thriller, will star Liam Neeson. After working together on the neo-noir crime thriller "Marlowe" in 2022, the 70-year-old actor is set to work with Neil Jordan again.
Liam is chosen to play a prisoner who is about to get out of jail but is forced to help a terrorist escape. The movie is going to start filming in September. It was written by Sean O'Keefe and Brian Rudnick.
Alan Moloney will produce for Parallel Film, and Steve Richards will produce for Endurance Media. Jake Katofsky, Susan Mullen, and Rupert Wyatt are also producing the movie.
Jordan said, "This is a different way to look at the prison break. Someone who just wants to finish his sentence takes a wild ride from prison to freedom. Liam Neeson will play the prisoner who doesn't want to get away, and I can't wait to learn more about him with him."
Moloney, who worked with Neeson and Jordan on "Marlowe" - said, "I'm excited to be working with Neil and Liam again. We've put together a top-notch team to help Neil's script and directing vision come to life. You'll be on the edge of your seat with this one."
Liam is a well-known action star, and he will keep making action movies as long as people ask him to. In an interview for 2021, the "The actor from "Taken" said, "I just turned 69, and now when I talk to my agent, he asks me, "Liam, have you read this script?" "It's an action script," Chris says, and I ask, "Do they know how old I am?" "Yes," Chris says. "Okay, that's all I wanted to know, thanks.""
