Soap2day – To get ready for the "Ant-Man" movies, Paul Rudd works out "like an athlete." The 53-year-old actor, who is known for playing the title superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series and was named Sexiest Man Alive by PEOPLE magazine in 2021, said that even though he works out hard for every shoot, he rarely goes shirtless in the movies.

"No one has ever asked me that question because I think everyone knows the answer!" When asked if he is as "ripped" as Chris Hemsworth, he laughed. "I think he was shirtless for a short time in the first one, and maybe from the side in the second one."

"But for these movies, I really, really work out hard. For these movies, I train like an athlete. One, if they want to do a shirtless scene, I can do it without feeling disgusted. It also helps me prepare for the role. I feel less like I'm a fake. But I did two shirtless scenes that didn't make the cut."

The "Knocked Up" star, who has been married to screenwriter Julie Yaeger since 2003 and has two kids with her, Jack, 17, and Darby, 13, said that his kids would probably agree that he is "cool," but he said that because he is just dad to them, they "make fun" of him all the time, even though he is famous in Hollywood.

He also said on the "Smallzy's Surgery" podcast, "I think my kids probably think I'm cool deep down, but I'm their dad, so I can only be so cool, and they make fun of me a lot."
